Hi, My name is Bob. That's my picture below on a recent trip to San Francisco. I wanted to give visitors some background as to why I opened up my store.
Why am I doing this?
Well, I've been in IT for over 20 years and I really wanted to do something different. Don't get me wrong, I still like programming. It's just that I've always wanted to do more than just sit in front of a computer all day. Plus tshirts are a natural offshoot of the IT profession. You should see the collection I have from all of the conferences and vendors.
The Future?
I don't plan on being the biggest, baddest tshirt shop in the internet. I would like it to be big enough to make a few bucks and small enough to maintain exceptional customer service. Plus I've got a couple of kids I have to put through college in a few years and we all know how much that costs.
What type of shirts do I plan on offering?
Tshirts were simple so I decided to try and offer some from around the world. I've started with some designer ones from the US, some chinese cut-outs from China and some with really cool designs from Thailand. As I find more tshirts, I'll order them and get them up on the store. I would like to get some from Europe (France, Belgium, etc.) next.
Trust?
There are a lot of websites out of there. How do you know which ones you can trust?
Well, there are two really important things.
First, is the info I use on my site. I use a GoDaddy account with SSL. That means that all of your private information is encrypted with the highest level of encryption. GoDaddy is also the leading website registrar for a reason with high customer satisfaction rating.
Second, for payments, I use PayPal to process credit cards. Your credit card info is safe with the webs leading payment processor. Everybody knows and trusts Paypal. No giving out your credit card to someone you don't know.
